End of yellow vigilance for strong winds in the departments of Nord, Pas-de-Calais and Somme, all three of which have returned to green. On the other hand, a notice of costs is announced by the maritime prefecture. The departments of Pas-de-Calais and Somme will go into snow-ice yellow vigilance at midnight, and until midday on Tuesday.
In the Somme, gusts reached 80 to 90 km/h. In Nord-Pas-de-Calais, 90 to 100 km/h, up to 118 km/h at Cap Gris-Nez. Currently, the wind is weakening, but we are maintaining values of around 80 to 90 km/h.
This gale linked to storm Floriane caused disruptions to the railway network but little damage, apart from a few interventions by firefighters for objects threatening to fall, in Calais in particular where they intervened for a 10m antenna threatening to fall, rue Frédéric Sauvage, in the Fontinettes district. A tree also fell on the roadway between Fauquembergues and Campagne-les-Boulonnais.
Be careful, however, a cold spell is expected on the seafront, the Somme and Pas-de-Calais will be on yellow snow-ice alert from midnight until noon tomorrow, and then the Liane remains on yellow alert for floods.
