A tragic accident occurred on Sunday in Ayent (VS). A fifty-year-old man died after losing control of his vehicle.
A 59-year-old Swiss man lost his life on Sunday morning in Ayent (VS). The man died in a traffic accident.
Shortly before 9 a.m., the motorist was driving on the Rawyl road in Fortunau, in the direction of Saint-Romain. Arriving at a right-hand curve, the man lost control of his vehicle. He rolled down the embankment below, rolling several times, the Valais cantonal police said in a press release on Monday morning.
Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, the driver, alone in his vehicle at the time of the incident, died on the spot.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation to define the exact causes of this fatal accident. (jzs)
