Haute-Loire remained classified under yellow vigilance but the wind gusts recorded good values during the night from Sunday to Monday.
The Loire and the Rhône remain on Orange alert this Monday. The gusts were more modest in the Loire, except on the Pilat massif (107 km/h in Pilat-Graix). At the end of the night from Sunday to Monday, the wind experienced a very relative calm.
This Monday, in addition to the Rhône and the Loire placed on Orange alert for the wind in the southern part of these departments, the wind will also blow quite strongly across the rest of the region, most of the departments of which are placed on yellow alert. (for gusts of around 70 to 90 km/h).
We will be able to exceed 90-100 km/h in the east of Haute-Loire. The end of the event is not yet perfectly targeted, between late morning and mid-afternoon, and it is possible that the end of orange vigilance will be earlier than announced.
During the night from Sunday to Monday, the best gusts were recorded at Mazet-Saint-Voy with 112 km at 1 hour but several gusts remained above 100 km/h during the night. We also note 100 km/h in Puy-en-Velay around 10 p.m. and Landos around midnight, 95 km/h in Fix at 10 p.m., 89 km/h in Monistrol at 10 p.m., 80 km/h in Saugues at 8 p.m. and 74 km to Les Estables at 3 hours.
