In this Nîmes-Nîmes derby, the five divisions of difference were logically felt throughout a match that the Crocos reserve did not overuse.
The difference in level was far too great, Sunday January 5, between the two Nîmes clubs and the final score (0-12) is clear. If the first team of the crocodile club, in the National or in a friendly match, cannot score, its reserve has shaken the nets twelve times. A real steamroller.
Two school actions, two goals
Even if the first situations are for Castanet, the five divisions which separate the two teams are noticed quite quickly. Crocodile domination is established and two goals are achieved in quick succession on two well-constructed and identical school actions: Ichou serves behind Dupont, unmarked (0-1, 6th), and Rollet Parison does the same for Lopes ( 0-2, 7th).

Dupont is close to the double with a point-blank header (12th) and a superb acrobatic volley (26th) but Gvozdic is on the parade.
Just after Lopes' goal (0-3, 7th), the attacker achieved it with a new action with a touch of the ball and a serve from Ribotta (0-4, 32nd). Ichou joins the party (0-5, 36th). In the meantime, Lopes could (should?) have scored the hat-trick but his lob went over the top (34th).
The match turns to correction
The Crocos did not give up in the second half. As soon as the restart, Dupont scores again and the match turns into a correction (0-6, 46th). Another quick one-touch game between Botella and Dupont, movement concluded by Tazi (0-7, 53rd). Botella then finds Dupont in the interval, who lobbies Gvozdic (0-8, 55th). The Castanet goalkeeper managed to stop the bleeding for a quarter of an hour with several saves and his crossbar which made up for it. But he cannot do everything and must bow again, this time to Larcier (0-9, 70th).
The quintuplet for Dupont
All the goals came from crosses from the right and the tenth, Tazi's double, was no exception (0-10, 75th). Shortly after, Dupont, who returned from injury (cruciate ligaments), achieved the quintuple (0-11, 78th) before Larcier completed the demonstration (0-12, 90th).
