Any information relating to the presence of dead wild birds must be transmitted without delay to the OFB (02.32.52.05.08 / sd27@o fb .gouv.fr) and any abnormal bird mortalityx breeding or domestics at the DDPP (02.32.39.83.00 / [email protected]). |
Faced with the evolution of HPAI cases in wildlife and on livestock farms, France is placed at “high” risk since November 9, 2024.
The transition to “high” risk generalizes the following prevention measures throughout the metropolitan territory:
Every keeper of poultry has obligations in terms of applying biosecurity measures for the prevention of avian influenza. Everyone is concerned, whether they are professionals or not..

These prevention measures complement the compulsory vaccination campaign launched in France since October 1, 2023 and renewed in 2024, for commercial farms keeping more than 250 ducks.. Surveillance, biosecurity and vaccination are complementary pillars of HPAI prevention.
As a reminder, the consumption of meat, foie gras and eggs and more generally any poultry-based food product does not present any risk for humans. |
