Author of a mixed 2024 season, since the Spaniard lost 35 places in the ATP rankings, he was however a quarter-finalist in Atlanta and beat world number 5, Daniil Medvedev during the round of 16 of the Montreal tournament during the 'summer. A course which should allow him to hope to achieve a result in this match against an opponent he knows well.
