Football: in the Gard-Lozère Cup, Grau-du-Roi shook for six minutes against FC Cabassut

Sunday January 5, no surprises or exploits for FC Cabassut (D1), logically released (1-4) by Grau-du-Roi (R1) in the 32nd finals of the -Lozère Cup.

During the 3rd round of the Coupe de , they (almost) came from nowhere against Beaucaire (N3), in the 83rd then 90th minute (2-2), before giving in… 11 shots on goal to 12! Also, when striker Hoffer put FC Cabassut (D1) in front (1-0, 13th) against Grau-du-Roi (R1), we could think of a possible exploit for the District residents.

Le Grau surprised by the opposing start

In all, the dream only lasted six minutes for Geoffrey Garcia's players, attractive at a more than successful start to the match, where they could even have had a two-goal lead. Coming up from a corner, defender Audemard saw his point pushed back with his foot by Graulen goalkeeper Vera (18th).

FC Cabassut did well but the three divisions ended up making themselves felt.
FREE NOON – JERÔME MORIN

The players of the Entente Aigues-Vives / Aubais / Gallargues had just missed their chance. ''We had a very good start to the match and managed to achieve what we wanted to doanalyzed Garcia. Where it's annoying, essentially, is that we concede two goals from set pieces.''

Cabassut, culpable absences in marking

On the move, it was already not easy for Cabassut. Graulen midfielder Keita broke through the defense and crossed for Braik, who equalized (1-1, 19th). And, in set phases, it became even more complicated for the resident of D1, paying dearly for his absences.

Twice and two headers, in 6', El Amrani sealed the deal, served, on free kicks, by Abbou (1-2, 30th), then by Braik (1-3, 36th).

At the break, Assoumani's partners had apparently done the hardest part. A trend which was confirmed during a second act where we never really felt the 7th in D1 capable of overturning the table. A quarter of an hour from the end, El Mardi added to the score for good (1-4, 77th).

'Overall, we managed well, even if it was complicated at the start''reacted El Amrani, double scorer and passer, chambered by his teammates.
