The storm “will circulate quickly but intensely over the northern half of the country”, warns Météo France on its website.

In total, 21 departments will be affected. “The southerly wind will become particularly strong from Sunday evening to early Monday afternoon in the Rhône-Alpes region,” forecasts the meteorological service.
