A late payment that has lasted for months. Around thirty employees from six stores, formerly under the Leader Price or Spar brand, are still awaiting payment of their salaries for several months, franceinfo learned from a source close to the matter on Friday January 3.
What all these employees have in common is having worked in stores owned by the same manager who bought these businesses last summer, often for a symbolic euro, from the Casino group. These stores are located in Seine-et-Marne, Marne, Haute-Marne, Oise and Puy-de-Dôme.
Proceedings were opened before several industrial tribunals. Me Florence Pain, lawyer for eight employees of the former Spar of Fontenay-Trésigny (Seine-et-Marne) also alerted the public prosecutor of Meaux, because she suspects a real fraud. The Casino group, for its part, says it has sent, in vain, formal notices to the manager of these former stores. The latter, contacted by franceinfo, did not respond.
