The weather is still uncertain on Sunday January 5, 2025 at Grau-du-Roi (Gard). Rain ? No rain? Temperatures ranging from 9 to 13°C are expected. Not freezing cold then. But it might still be hard to motivate yourself to throw yourself into the water. As will hundreds of people.

It is the traditional “first bath of the year” which is organized there. And it's been going on for ten years. Led by the Rotary Club Baie d'Aigues-Mortes and sponsored, this year, by the HBTC – HandBall Terre de Camargue, this rather special swim will take place at 10 a.m. on the left bank beach (city center).

Exhibition, restoration…

On the program, in addition to swimming: warm-up to music, Militaria Occitanie exhibition (D-Day cars), on-site catering, musical atmosphere, surprises and new features. And this all day, until 6 p.m. Registration is required on site or online.

Last year, 650 swimmers attended. Organizers hope for 1,000 to celebrate the tenth anniversary.
