The Bas-Rhin department is placed on orange snow-ice alert from 11:00 p.m.

Snowfall, of 1 and 3 cm, and locally up to 5 cm, is expected during the first part of the night.

From 2 a.m.,es freezing rain will be able to to touch the entire department.

Advice to the population

For your safety, the Bas-Rhin prefecture reminds you of the precautions to take in the event of of ice

  • If possible, limit your travel
  • If you have to travel, stay safe and vigilant
  • Find out about traffic conditions and prepare your trip and route
  • Respect the traffic restrictions and diversions put in place
  • Facilitate the passage of road and highway clearing equipment, in particular by parking your vehicle outside the traffic lanes
