We warned you: from 2025 to 2030, the Center Pompidou will be getting a makeover, and the Atelier Brancusi, located a few steps away, will be no exception. Before saying goodbye for a while to the sculptures of the Romanian artist, Beaubourg paid him a final tribute with an XXL exhibition bringing together nearly 200 sculptures, photos, drawings, films and archive documents. The largest French retrospective ever devoted to this monument of European sculpture whose curves and clean lines helped lay the foundations of minimalism. Result, the exhibition Brancusi attracted more than 390,000 visitors until it closed in July. With nearly 5,000 entries per day, this retrospective established the master of minimalism as an essential figure in modern art. An experience that thrilled as much as it refined.
With more than 3.2 million visitors in 2024 (!!!), this Parisian establishment is not just emblematic, it is a pure crowd-swallowing machine
