The butte Montmartre will be transformed in 2025. The neighborhood will be largely pedestrianized, in continuation of the citizen approach “Beautify your neighborhood” in 2022. Limitation of traffic, greening and removal of certain parking spaces… The work, started on November 18, 2024 , will continue until August 31, 2025. public meeting will be organized on Thursday January 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the school at 62, rue Lepic, announces the town hall of the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

Several redevelopments to be planned

During this meeting, residents will be able to discover the details of the redevelopments planned for the place Jean-Baptiste Clémentas well as the entire pedestrianization process for the Butte Montmartre.

Concretely, the pedestrian area will be mainly concentrated around the Sacré-Cœur, that is to say on the tourist and shopping areas of the neighborhood. “Pedestrian areas closed with barriers are also set up in certain places: rue Muller, Lepic, Ronsard, Durantin,” specifies the town hall.
