This Wednesday, January 1, 2025, the group of water walkers led by the Badgeaux club and the Lo Bartas club “did very well” with a unique event which caused a sensation on Vergnes beach, at Lake Pareloup. Indeed, to celebrate the New Year, around fifteen daring people decided to brave the freezing temperatures for an unforgettable invigorating bath.
Disguised and only in swimsuits, these courageous “frosted girls” dove into 6°C water, to the applause of spectators.
The atmosphere was resolutely festive, in a friendly atmosphere enhanced by lively music which motivated the participants. After this invigorating dive, everyone gathered around a warm moment of sharing, enjoying a mulled wine and a sweet snack.
The “frosted” people of Pareloup have already announced (but this will surprise no one!) that this meeting will become annual.
This first invigorating bath is the promise of a beautiful tradition in Pareloup, which should not be missed under any circumstances!
