The occupants of the premises raised the alarm at 9:10 p.m. following a fire starts on the terrace of a house of one floor in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle in Impasse Hiriartea d'Amotz this Thursday, January 2, 2025. Fortunately, no person was injured despite thegas cylinder explosion.

A gas cylinder on fire had been reported by the occupants of the premises, which led the operators of 18, on the phone with the victims, to recommend people to take shelter before it explodes.
The fire concerned a lean-to with an area of 30m2, adjoining a one-story house. When help arrived, the structure was completely engulfed in flames. the fire was brought under control using two fire hoses and thanks to the work of the firefighters the adjoining house was protected.
Thermal camera checks were then carried out to prevent any risk of spread. finally, a covering the damaged part was carried out to protect the premises.
