A partnership agreement has just been signed in Olivet (Loiret) between the Centre-Val de Loire Region and the Fès-Meknes Region, in Morocco, as part of the decentralized cooperation program.
It aims to support the professional integration of young people and strengthen training capacities in the social work sector between the two regions.
This partnership builds on a fruitful collaboration that began in 2018, during a study trip for state diploma “Social Service Assistant” students from the Regional School of Social Workers (ERTS), in Olivet. The current program will deepen exchanges on educational practices and methodologies between the Regional School of Social Work (ERTS) and the Higher Institute of Nursing and Health Technology Professions (Ispits) of Fez.
The President of the Region, François Bonneau, underlines the enrichment of the cultures of the two countries and the human dimension, believes that “this cooperation is a great joy. We wanted to go further. Today it is a reality that we want to bring to life.”
Doctor Mustapha Yaagoubi, director of Ispits, indicates that “this agreement is the symbolic translation of the result of long-term work with all the teams”.
