Gourdon. A recycling pass from January 1, 2025

Since January 1, access control to recycling centers has been put in place. You will need to present your pass on smartphone or paper to access it and deposit your waste.

This access control will regulate flows, facilitate removal and above all improve the quality of sorting. The Lot does not have recycling centers reserved for professionals, this being outside the jurisdiction of Syded. However, agreements have been signed with professional organizations to welcome businesses and self-employed people under conditions. Some professionals do not declare themselves as such and pass the cost of processing their waste onto local taxpayers.

Waste disposal workers are increasingly subjected to verbal and even physical attacks. Some users do not take the time to sort their contributions and dump everything in the same bin, or even on the ground. This is not acceptable and the end of anonymity in recycling centers could make it possible to contain this behavior, and if necessary, to take measures.

January 2025 marks the start of registrations for individuals. From April, access control will be implemented at the 29 recycling centers in Lot.

The limit is set at two visits per day and per household, in order to guarantee availability in the dumpsters for everyone. For large volumes, you can request an exemption from Syded or directly from the recycling center.

Depending on the data collected by Syded during 2025, decisions will be made on the quotas applied to each type of user from 2026. The recycling center is already paid for by users via part of the household waste removal tax (TEOM). ) backed by property tax. Operation does not change in 2025. The quotas set in 2026 will allow normal use of the recycling center by individuals with a significant number of visits.

This recycling pass can be purchased on monpassdechets.syded-lot.fr. To register, provide: address, title, contact details and proof of address less than 3 months old. For professionals and similar, registration is also done online. For users without internet access, contact Syded on 05 65 21 61 63.
