A large and attentive audience of licensees attended the general meeting of the Les randonneurs cyclotouristes du Val de Vère club.

Gathered in the village hall of La Lande-Patry, the president Jean Raucoule started the game.

A drop in licensees

He began by warmly thanking those present and the presidents of the committee from , Dominique Roussel, and from the departmental committee of Orne, François Beaudouin who responded favorably to his invitation.

No accidents this year

The national accident figures, taken from the ONISR 2023 annual report, were then commented on by the club's safety delegate Jean-Pierre Heuveline.

The RCVVs are doing well sinceno accidents was not declared this year. Despite everything, he recommended caution and respect for bicycle traffic rules and insisted on the health aspect.

Increase in average age

The figures and statistics presented by the club's secretary, Alain Verrier, confirmed the president's statements by emphasizing the lack of renewal of licensees and therefore the increase in the average age.

These observations and concerns are also experienced at the federal level as indicated in the report of the last AGM of the FFVélo in 2023, extracts of which were presented.

However, numerous actions have been undertaken to try to rally new licensees and in particular the presence of the club in local organizations. He cited the forum of associations, the sports festival, learning to ride a bike, the sports school, Roche d'Oëtre, among others, as well as the Montilly fair lastly.

Ces actions will be maintained and if possible accentuated next season.

Activities all season long

The French cycling school, for its part, is doing rather well with 24 licensees young people announced for 2025. Its manager, Pascal Dupont, carried out all the activities and outings carried out throughout the season.

The club jersey is present in many organizations and proudly worn by EFV young people, which constitutes a good vector of communication.

THE financial reports relating to the income statement and the organization Les Chemins du Mont were presented to the public by the club's treasurer Daniel Demoré, without any particular remarks.

The activities and outings were then commented on by each participant who had agreed to write a post about them.

A new member in the office

The various reports were then accepted unanimously by those present and the office was reappointed. A new member came to complete it, it is Arvid Laurent, a young man trained at the club who applied.

The president highly recommended him and he was unanimously elected by those present.

The presidents of Codep61 and Coreg Normandie then took turns speaking. They appreciated the quality of the meeting and praised the dynamism of the club leaders and its volunteers, noting in passing the density of the organizations. Their messages were imbued withoptimism and very well received by the licensees.
