Capsule: the table that makes the 14th take off

A stone's throw from the Observatory, this Capsule — more special than spatial — propels the 14th arrondissement into a new gastronomic galaxy. This restaurant, the result of the collaboration of a passionate trio — Pierre Thomas, Florian Woelflinger and Mickaël Falotte — offers a culinary experience that combines know-how and conviviality. At the helm of the kitchen, Mickaël, the chef of the trio trained with Christian Constant, delivers gourmet and accessible cuisine, highlighting local and sustainable products. His inspiration is expressed through dishes such as the soft-boiled egg with creamy celery and truffle oil (€11) or the famous roast chicken legs with brown butter purée (€20). Dessert lovers will appreciate the -… Capsule version (€12). On the cellar side, Pierre Thomas has concocted a fine selection of French wines, with a predilection for natural vintages. The atmosphere, orchestrated by the warm Florian, is both elegant and relaxed. The decor, designed by architect Paul de Coudenhove, is inspired by the space universe (we would have guessed it!), in a nod to the neighboring Observatory. The room with 48 seats, in beige and peach tones, opens onto a visible kitchen, creating a dialogue between the guests and the brigade. The house also offers affordable lunch packages (starter-main course-dessert at €26), allowing everyone to experience their space conquest.
