The route for the 83rd edition of Paris-Nice was unveiled on Tuesday December 17 in the morning in Versailles, and as usual, it is the Department of Yvelines which will be the scene of the launch of the Race to the Sun.
After a kick-off given in Les Mureaux last year, the first stage will start this time from the commune of Perray-en-Yvelines, on March 9, 2025, to make a loop through the Versailles plain, the Vallée de Chevreuse and Dampierre-en-Yvelines, before returning to Perray-en-Yvelines for the finish.
The next day, head to Montesson for the start of the second stage, which will see the riders set off towards Bellegarde, in the Loiret. Cycling enthusiasts from Yvelines will once again be able to meet the peloton near Les Mesnuls and Perray-en-Yvelines on March 10.
The rider of the Visma-Lease a Bike team, Matteo Jorgensen, will once again be there to defend his title acquired during the previous edition. However, he will face his own teammate, the double winner of the Tour de France Jonas Vingegaard, determined to take the title from him. Verdict on Sunday March 16 on the Promenade des Anglais.
