Carrefour Contact will set up in La Couture-Boussey

On the occasion of the last municipal council of La Couture-Boussey (Eure), near Saint-André-de-l'Eure, the mayor Sylvain Boreggio announced that it had been “requested as part of a study that the Carrefour brand is carrying out to open a Carrefour Contact. This opening will allow the creation of seven jobs and will contribute to the dynamism of the town. This is an extremely important project for our city.”

The future business, with a surface area of 500 m2 environwhich would be located on a plot recently acquired by the municipality, near the departmental road, will be supplemented by a gas stationequipment that is lacking in the municipality, and therefore a car wash areainstalled by the couturiotte company L2R. The structure would also allow for the installation of a ticket machinea facility requested in the town for many years.

And housing!

In the same plot, the social landlord Siloge is proposing to build a dozen housing units dedicated to seniors, which will be offered for rental.

The chief magistrate went to the merchants to present this project to them, in particular the arrival of commerce. The latter mostly received it well. A public meeting will take place in the first quarter of 2025particularly to present visuals. “Elected officials are unanimously in favor and convinced of the positive impact that these developments will have in revitalizing the town,” assures the mayor. Given the delays, mainly administrative, these constructions could see the light of day in 2027.
