An intervention mobilizing significant resources
Firefighters from the Haute-Garonne Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS 31) were quickly alerted and rushed to the scene of the accident. Despite their rapid intervention, the driver of the car did not survive his injuries.
A bus passenger, injured in a “relative emergency”, was taken care of by the rescuers before being transported to the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Toulouse to receive treatment.
In total, the intervention mobilized 10 firefighters, 4 emergency vehicles, as well as a SAMU medical team. The police were also present on site to ensure security and carry out initial findings.
