The transition to the new year marks the generalization of new support measures for RSA beneficiaries.
This is one of the major changes of the transition to the year 2025. From January 1, the payment of the RSA will be subject to the obligation to achieve fifteen hours of activity per week.

From now on, beneficiaries will have to sign an employment contract with their France Travail advisor. Depending on their situation, mandatory activities will be defined, such as immersion in business or the preparation for passing the licensewith the aim of helping as many people as possible access employment.
This measure should also concern young people monitored by local missions and people receiving the disabled adult allowance.
Automatic registration with France Travail
From an administrative point of view, from Wednesday, RSA beneficiaries will also be registered with France Travail. This concerns an additional 1.2 million people, who will be immediately registered as job seekers. They will first be placed in a new “waiting” category (category G) before being assigned to one of categories A to F.
The active solidarity income (RSA) provides people without resources with a minimum level of income which varies according to the composition of the household. The RSA is open, under certain conditions, to people aged at least 25 and to young workers aged 18 to 24 if they are single parents or have a certain length of professional activity.
