Under the leadership of a group of friends, a steering committee was created in September, made up of Patrick Carcassès, Thierry Clary, Philippe Domergue, Didier Fourgous, Jacques Frankowski, Patrick Imbert, Jean-François Rubira, Jean- Pierre Sarraute and Roger Viguié.
They wish to finalize the idea of a reunion project around 100 years of Football in the Lot valley, resulting from the Union Sportive de Penchot-Livinhac following the merger (in May 1980) of the two clubs of the Union Sportive de Penchot and Étoile Sportive de Livinhac. It was by browsing the numerous photos, newspaper clippings, various testimonies from former managers or players collected by Patrick Imbert, abounding in a very detailed history, that the idea arose.
It will be noted that the Penchot Sports Union could even celebrate its hundred years of existence in view of the statutes filed on February 18, 1925.
All players who have worn the colors of these two clubs will soon be contacted, for a friendly day on June 28.
Do not hesitate to get information: Patrick Imbert on 06 30 15 54 39 or Thierry Clary on 06 89 99 90 89.
