Small and big events
The future president speaks enthusiastically about her calendar and plans ahead. She is teeming with ideas. “Small and big events for small and big actions,” she says. History
This movement was born in the United States in 1921. It appeared in France in 1924 thanks to Suzanne Noël, a cosmetic surgeon. This NGO, with consultative status at the UN, supports women and girls. Present in 120 countries, it has 65,000 members, including 2,000 in France, spread across 100 clubs.
Lot-et-Garonne has two clubs: Nérac and Agen, the latter having around twenty members. It is a solid network of active women who work in five areas: education, health, leadership, violence, and sustainable development through events that generate concrete actions.
