It was a scene of incredible violence that a witness witnessed this Friday, December 27. A man in a car traveling on the Route de la Léchère in the town of Charvieu-Chavagneux in Isère was ejected from the passenger compartment and then declared dead by the SMUR doctor.
Less than 24 hours later, an individual was arrested by the police in the Paris region, AFP learned from the gendarmes. The man aged around thirty turns out to be the victim's son. He is suspected of being the driver of the vehicle which ejected the sixty-year-old found unconscious in the middle of the road.
Following this discovery, the Bourgoin-Jallieu gendarmerie research brigade and the Grenoble research section were seized.
According to a source close to the investigation, the hypothesis of a family dispute is favored. On Friday, the victim was supposed to spend the afternoon with one of his sons. A witness to the scene says that the main suspect would have “ejected“his father from his car in motion before he”hang out the door” and roll over him.
The thirty-year-old was arrested this Saturday, December 28 by the national police in the Paris region where he had fled, according to the same source who spoke to AFP. “Already under the scope of a research sheet“, the son is the target of a homicide investigation which was opened by the Vienna public prosecutor's office, according to the Dauphiné Libéré.
