A tragedy narrowly avoided. Friday December 27, 2024, a woman tried tosmothering your father with a pillow in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne), before being turned away by a caregiver, according to information revealed by The Parisian. The Créteil public prosecutor's office indicated Paris news that an investigation was opened immediately to “aggravated violence”.

The life-saving intervention of a caregiver

According to the regional daily, the events took place around 7 p.m. on Friday in the victim's home. A nurse allegedly discovered the daughter of two parents, her patients, holding a cushion plastered on the octogenarian's face. She would have immediately reacted by pushing the woman aside who tried to suffocate him.

The latter would suffer from “psychological or even psychiatric” disordersaccording to the prosecution. She would have asked the police officers intervening on the scene to “wear an electronic bracelet like Nicolas Sarkozy”, reports The Parisian.

The investigation must now establish the circumstances of the facts. No serious injuries would not have been observed on the octogenarian. Her daughter would have been accompanied to the psychiatric emergency room of the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-Marne).
