Last year, he estimated that the level of the Saudi Pro League (Saudi D1), where he has been playing since 2023, was “no worse than that of Ligue 1”. The host of the evening therefore asked him if he confirmed his opinion. “Of course, the Saudi championship is better than Ligue 1,” he replied. “I'm not saying that because I play here, I don't care what people think. They should come and play here and see what what it is. Try sprinting under 38,39 or 40°C, you'll see.”

According to him, the French championship lacks competition and only has one competitive team. The Al-Nassr striker specifies: “In France, there is only PSG, the others are finished. France is only PSG, sorry.” Before asserting: “No one can compete with him. They have the best players, it's the club with the most money. It's factual. I'm not lying, I don't know why people are so surprised.”

These comments should not delight Paris Saint-Germain's competitors.
