“The Grand Competition of the Regions: The best choir in France”
Facing the members of the jury, ten choirs from ten regions of France will perform two pieces to try to win the prize for best choir. This competition, presented by Cyril Féraud, is broadcast Friday December 27 at 9:05 p.m. on France 3.
There are ten of them who can claim the title of Best Choir in France. From the stage of the Royal Palace, in Kirrwiller in Alsace, they will each perform two titles representing their musical universe, from rock to disco, from gospel to lyric or variety. Coming from Brittany, Occitanie, New Aquitaine, Île-de-France, Tahiti or even Normandy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France and Pays de the Loire, they will be decided by Vincent Niclo, Magali Ripoll, Laurent Luyat and Adeline Toniutti. The ten choirs in the running
Auvergne Rhône-Alpes: AECOR
This choir is made up entirely of medical students from Lyon. She is one of the few on this show who is 100%. a cappella.
First title: The Sickness of Love (Michel Sardou)
Second title: Live life (Coldplay)
Brittany: Children's choir of Brittany
It has existed for more than forty years and is exclusively made up of children. It is also a former choir boy who saved it from disappearance a few years ago, and who directs it today.

Grand Est : Choral Leszczynski
The twenty singers of the Leszczynski Choir unite their voices to perform their specialty: great film scores.

Hauts-de-France: Salt and Pepper
The members of this choir are on average 73 years old and, with them, rock and roll from the 1960s to the present day is in the spotlight.

Île-de-France: Alexia and the CHAM choir of Henri-Dunant college
They are from Meaux, more precisely from Henri-Dunant college. Music teacher, Alexia created this choir for 6th grade students.e at 3e.

Normandy: MEP Choir
Entirely feminine, this choir is linked by a spirit of mutual aid, sisterhood and surpassing oneself!

New Aquitaine: Sing Out
Straight from Bordeaux, the Sing Out choir will show us that Bordeaux culture is not limited to good wines and canelés. In singing too, they deliver!

Occitanie: Le Cri – a cappella choir
Their song goes far beyond the borders of their region. It was in Toulouse that Le Cri – a cappella choir was born. Inspired by this cosmopolitan city, this choir wants to bring together, open up, take people on a journey.
First title: Xenitia tu etera (Cypriot song, composer Giorgios Kalogirou) and Macedonian Devojtshe (traditional Macedonian song, arrangement Bruno Coffineau)
Second title: Gueroung’ner (traditional Armenian song) and Ning turned (traditional Kenyan song, arrangement by William Powell)
Overseas Tahiti : The New Language
This choir made the trip with their legendary mana.

Pays de la Loire: Gospel Rhapsody
They come from the Nantes metropolis and are all keen to use their voices to tell the story of gospel, carry strong messages and bring powerful songs to life.

The Royal Palace, second largest cabaret in France
The Royal Palace, in Kirrwiller, is the second largest cabaret in France and the first in the region. Located in the heart of Alsace in a small village of less than 500 inhabitants, the Royal Palace, which has just celebrated its 40e anniversary, offers ever more sophisticated magazines every year.
