Charlieu. Michel Servet College: A day full of surprises for Civil Security cadets. Saturday December 21, the Civil Security cadet section of Michel Servet college was treated to a surprise day in Lyon.
Chief Warrant Officer Chavant welcomed the college students to the Gerland barracks. The opportunity for young people to visit the premises and discover the daily life of the workforce. They then headed towards the Palais des Sports, where the latest armored vehicles, such as the famous Jaguar, were presented to the Army Village. The day ended on a good note as the students attended the Musicales solidaires show for which their teacher and advisor, Estelle Chabrier, had registered them. Different military formations such as the fanfare of the 27 e battalion of Alpine hunters from Annecy, the bands of the Bordeaux air forces, the Paris fire brigade… gave almost three hours of concert. By participating in this show which ended with the interpretation of the Marseillaise by 300 musicians, they supported the bleuet de France, an organization which works in favor of war wounded, surviving partner partners, wards of the nation and all civilian victims of terrorism. “This day was unique and exceptional. It was new for the section, a bit like their Christmas present, which plunges them into a new context that they would not discover on their own, while remaining within the idea of commitment and solidarity” , commented Estelle Chabrier.
