In the François Mankabou affair, a new twist has just emerged, revealed by Me Patrick Kabou through a post on X (formerly Twitter). The lawyer lifts the veil on disturbing elements surrounding the circumstances of the arrest and death of François Mankabou.
According to Me Patrick Kabou, an individual close to a politician followed François Mankabou several days before his arrest. This same individual then contacted Mankabou's relatives to tell them of his death. In a suspicious move, he presented himself first as a nurse, then as an ambulance driver at the main hospital in Dakar. Thanks to in-depth investigations, Me Patrick Kabou's team claims to have traced the phone calls of this person and identified his number. A complaint was filed with the cybercrime section, and several relatives were interviewed as part of the investigation. However, “so far, NOTHING”, deplores the lawyer, highlighting a certain inertia of the competent authorities.

Me Patrick Kabou recalls that François Mankabou, before his death, had provided a precise description of the events that occurred before his hospitalization. These elements, he asserts, should be taken seriously. In his message, the lawyer emphasizes the seriousness of this matter: “We do not play with people’s lives. Human life is sacred. » He calls for diligent handling of this matter, which, according to him, highlights unacceptable behavior and worrying gray areas.
