Critical Failure is an anticipation film and an unfinished screenplay on the representation of racialized queer communities. Diffracted, multiplied and deployed on the timeline without linearity, like a montage in progress, the film is an attempt to invent a new method for making cinema while asking a series of ethical, aesthetic and practical questions. Critical Failure interweaves a sum of obstacles and revelations following the journey of Ekko, an artist in residence in an Art center, who discovers himself a robot and attempts to hack his own code by means of a choreography in the middle resistant androids in order to free themselves from the link to the ICAC (Central Institution of Contemporary Art), take control of their body and become autonomous.
