A 16-year-old teenager was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention on Thursday, December 19, two days after the death of a minor of the same age, who was stabbed in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, announced the prosecution. “The judicial investigation is also open against X for the violence aggravated by three circumstances, the investigations are now continuing under the direction of the investigating judge”added the prosecution.
Tuesday morning, before the start of classes, a brawl broke out near the Rodin high school in Paris. A minor, in cardio-respiratory arrest and with head injuries, was treated by emergency services but died in hospital. A judicial investigation had been opened for murder and aggravated violence.
According to the prosecution’s explanations, “the victim and [le suspect]with other young people yet to be identified, clearly maintained a relationship of animosity punctuated by recourse to violence in different places in Paris. A resident of Ivry in Val-de-Marne, a department bordering the 13th arrondissement, the victim was aged 16 and attended a vocational high school in Alfortville.
