On December 16, the CCAS received nearly 300 “Christmas boxes” at its Espace Hermès premises for its beneficiaries, whether single-parent families, elderly people or homeless people. fixed.

A 5th edition which received, this year, the support of traders from the Aushopping Gallery in Auchan.

Something good, something warm, a leisure activity, a hygiene or beauty product, a sweet word. For the fifth year, the CCAS organized, under the leadership of Véronique Leportois, assistant for healthy aging, the “Christmas box” operation: « It’s always a great emotioninsists the chosen one, at a time when some fear the loneliness of Christmas Eve”.

As in previous years, donors include individuals, but also sports clubs, such as AS Mar-Vivo, or educational establishments such as the Renan, Toussaint-Merle, Martini and Saint-Exupéry schools. « The idea is sharing and solidarity, continues Véronique Leportois. For me, it’s a joy to give”. At his side, the first assistant Christine Sinquin and the representative of the Aushopping gallery in Auchan: « On December 7, we opened a workshop for our customers’ children. In total, nearly 300 boxes were centralized on the first floor of the Hermès space, avenue Gide. They will be redistributed until the beginning of January, notably on the occasion of the Christmas Eve of the “Coiffure du coeur” association, organized this year by the restaurant La Frégate, avenue Hoche.
