The CIS of Limay (78 520)
The center was built in 1975. The Center's staff includes 15 professional firefighters and 35 volunteer firefighters. There are 6 female firefighters, including one professional. The CIS is equipped with two victim rescue vehicles (ambulances), one vehicle for fighting urban fires and another for fires in natural areas. A large scale should reinforce the equipment. The firefighters also have a rescue boat docked at a pontoon on the Seine. In 2023, 2,200 interventions were carried out, including 1,712 personal rescue interventions.
The SDIS 78
SDIS 78 (departmental fire and rescue service) brings together 42 fire and rescue centers. In 2023, 96,433 interventions were carried out, or 264 per day. 80,412 personal assistance, 2,921 medical assistance, 5,475 fires, 4,655 road accidents and 1,091 for technological risks. The average response time to a call to the SDIS 78 firefighters is 11 minutes 31 minutes, including 2 minutes 4 seconds devoted to the alert processing phase.
End of year celebrations and visit from the firefighters
