On Wednesday, December 4, teams from the Haute-Marne hospital center organized the second edition of the inclusive Christmas market at the secular patronage hall.
For the second year in a row, the teams from the Maine de Biran medical center and the Chaumont and Langres day hospitals of the Haute-Marne hospital center organized their inclusive Christmas market at the secular patronage hall on Wednesday, December 4. “An event that aims to be open to the outside world,” explains Caroline Bertrand, nurse. Throughout the day, Chaumontais were able to admire and purchase different creations from patients in day hospitals and the Sittelle workshop.
Visitors were able to raise awareness about mental health in a fun way through prevention and awareness stands. Through art therapy workshops, they were able to decorate the Christmas tree at the Haute-Marne hospital center. “An information tree has been installed in the middle of the place. Since there is a solution for every problem, we have indicated the different organizations and the problems they resolve. During this day, visitors were able to benefit from a well-being workshop around manicure and nails,” says Richard Sergent, health course coordinator. To reinvigorate themselves before facing the cold, the Chaumontais were able to enjoy a coffee or chocolate around an artificial campfire.
