Limoilou: a man found with significant burns

The police discovered a man with significant burns in a home on rue de Fondville, in Limoilou.

Around 1:05 p.m., patrol officers from the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) intervened for a 29-year-old individual with significant burns on his body.

He was quickly rescued by the ambulance service and transported to a hospital. His life would not be threatened. This would not be a voluntary gesture.

Major crime investigators as well as technicians from the Forensic Identification Unit are responsible for the investigation and assessment of the scene.

This is not the first time that emergency services have been to this same address.

At the end of October, a story of settling scores was the cause of an armed attack that occurred in the same place. A man had to be taken to hospital.

The attack occurred in this building on rue de Fondville.

“Objects” were then used to attack the victim.

It is unclear, however, whether it was the same person who was injured in the two separate events.
