The Montpellier residents will play at Le Puy in Haute-Loire for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France which will be played during the weekend of December 20 to 22.
Montpellier will travel to Puy which plays in Nationale 2 during the draw which took place on Monday December 2 at the Parc des Princes in Paris and carried out by the French international Griedge Mbock and the Parisian handball player Elohim Prandi.
An affordable draw for the Montpellier residents against an opponent who plays three divisions below Jean-Louis Gasset's players. The Ponots, leaders of their N2 group in the championship, are specialists in the Coupe de France and had a great run last year, only being eliminated in the quarter-finals by Rennes (1-3).
