A few days before the Olympic flame passes through Seine-Maritime on Friday July 5, the names of the flame bearers have just been revealed.

The Olympic flame will be carried in triumph on Friday July 5 in Seine-Maritime. last time dates back 33 years, for the Albertville winter games.

The flame of the Paris games will arrive from Amiens. In Seine-Maritime, it will delight the public in Rouen, Dieppe, Le Havre, Etretat, Yvetot, Jumièges and Mirville, the family birthplace of Pierre de Coubertin, father of the modern Olympic Games.

But who will be the torchbearers during the 49th stage of the Paris 2024 Olympic torch relay?

  • Sandrine Gruda, double Olympic medalist with the French basketball team
  • David Douillet, double Olympic judo champion from Rouen
  • Charlie Dalin, skipper from Le Havre, won the Transat AG2R 2012, and in the Imoca category, the Transat Jacques-Vabre 2019
  • Fauve Hautot, a dancer from Dieppe, known for the show “Dancing with the Stars”
  • Élise Russis, international pole vaulter and U20 world vice-champion, aspires to realize her dream by participating in the Paris 2024 Games.
  • Florian Merrien, four-time Paralympic medalist in table tennis
  • Gaël Rivière, member of the French blind football team
