Marie-Line Brugidou, President of the Council of the Cpam de la Haute-Garonne and Stéphane Cobigo, Deputy Director of the Cpam de la Haute-Garonne, presented the Sandrine Riaudo Prize to the RésÔ H'and association on Thursday, November 21 Family. This price is part of the “handicap” policy initiated by the Cpam Council of Haute-Garonne. As such, Cpam carries out actions in favor of people weakened by illness or disability. By presenting this prize in the form of an endowment of 25,000 euros to this association, the President recalled the involvement of Health Insurance, in general, and of the Cpam de la HauteGaronne, in particular, in the field of disability. It fully corresponds to the desire to facilitate the life projects dear to Sandrine Riaudo. This prize is dedicated to Sandrine Riaudo, a young woman from suffering from myopathy, who fought so that every person with a disability could live independently. Created in January 2009, by the Council of the Cpam of Haute-Garonne with the support of Josette Riaudo (Sandrine's mother), this prize rewards the action(s) of one or more associations, in favor of people in situations of disability or loss of autonomy. Each file was examined by a jury composed of members of the Council and Management of the Cpam of Haute-Garonne and the Departmental Council of Haute-Garonne. The Sandrine RIAUDO prize is renewed each year. The RésÔ H'and Family association's mission is to reach out to isolated families in situations of social and financial precariousness, to enable them to join society, despite the disability situation of one of the minor children of the family. Through its support, it helps families in Toulouse and the municipalities of the metropolis to improve their living conditions.
