Two months after the end of the Futsal World Cup during which the French team shone for its first participation by reaching the semi-finals, the Blues (10th in the FIFA rankings) will return to the campaign, mid-December, to try to qualify for the 2026 European Championship which will take place in Lithuania and Latvia in January 2026.
In their qualifying group, the teammates of new captain Souheil Mouhoudine will begin with a trip to Bulgaria (98th) on Friday December 13. They will then face Georgia (14th) on Tuesday December 17 in Orléans.
