Operated by Truong Hai International Logistics Limited Liability Company (THILOGI), it has played a key role in strengthening trade relations between companies in the Central and Central Highlands regions and neighboring countries such as Laos and Cambodia for more than a decade.

Strategically located in the key economic region of Central, the port enjoys excellent transport connectivity via major routes such as National Highway 1A and Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway.

The Central Region is recognized as a major manufacturing and processing center, particularly for sectors such as textiles, footwear, wood and furniture, metals, heavy industries, oil and gas, energy and agriculture.

The Central region is home to many industrial zones, including large ones.

Under the Quang Nam Province Master Plan until 2030, which focuses on key sectors such as aviation, ports and logistics, Chu Lai Port is well positioned to become an international logistics hub.

Efforts are currently underway to establish new maritime routes in the region that will connect adjacent ports, integrating with free zones, industrial areas, airports and railway stations, in line with the province’s strategic vision for the maritime sector.

THILOGI recently registered with the US Federal Maritime Commission with the aim of facilitating trade between Vietnam and the US, and plans to improve logistics services to support businesses.

Phan Van Ky, general manager of Chu Lai Port, stressed the port’s focus on diversifying shipping routes to Northeast Asia, America and Canada, using its land to expand warehouses and other port facilities.

The port recently invested more than 400 billion VND in upgrading equipment, vehicles and infrastructure to improve its operations.

Thanks to its competitive rates and ongoing investments, the port constitutes a profitable and efficient gateway for exporters of agricultural products from the Central region.

Through efficient multimodal logistics operations, it has streamlined companies’ operations, increasing their profitability and improving their competitiveness.

Its cold storage system, built according to international standards, covers an area of more than 12,500 m² and has 1,000 refrigerated containers to meet customers’ storage and export needs.

Scheduled to open next month as a 50,000-ton deep-water port terminal with a modern loading and unloading system, it is poised for continued growth.

As a company connecting agricultural exports from the Central and Central Highlands regions, Laos and Cambodia, THILOGI has efficient freight forwarding solutions that have transformed the port into an international logistics hub.

It prioritizes a full logistics service model, linking cargo transport activities from road to sea and providing a range of port services.

It has a fleet of transport vehicles and refrigerated containers specialized to ensure the conservation of agricultural products at appropriate temperatures.
