The areas affected by the yellow alert are located in the East, the center and the South-West of France. These are the Ardennes, the Marne, the Meuse, the Bas-Rhin, the Vosges, the Haute-Saône, the Cher, the Indre, the Isère and the Savoie.

The departments on the French-Spanish border, namely Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, Andorra, Ariège and Pyrénées-Orientales, are still on yellow alert for storms.

“In the afternoon, the risk of thunderstorms persists in Rhône-Alpes, and showers are still possible from the Grand-Est to the Massif Central. In the rest of the country, the weather becomes changeable, alternating clouds and clear spells, but the sky is more overcast with showers towards the Hauts de France as well as in the Pyrenees, where showers can locally reach thunderstorms,” ​​Météo-France indicated in its bulletin.

Rain for Monday

For tomorrow, the weather service is predicting “a weak disturbance” that will cross the country. Rain will be mainly located in the north of France and “temporarily moderate in the Grand-Est in the morning.”

“The sky remains overcast due to blocking over the Pyrenean relief and foothills in the morning with light rain,” continued Météo-France. “In the afternoon, the weather becomes changeable over a large part of the country with some showers, particularly near the Massif Central. The weather remains sunny around the Mediterranean under a mistral and a tramontane blowing at 60 to 80 km/h,” the company specified.

In terms of temperatures, the minimums will be between 10 and 15°C in the northern half, between 13 and 18°C ​​in the south. The maximums will be between 20 and 26°C, locally “18 or 19 near the Channel, they reach 26 to 32°C on the Mediterranean coast”, indicated Météo-France.
