This Sunday, June 30, 2024, the French were called back to the polls for the first round of legislative electionspoll which follows Emmanuel Macron’s decision to dissolve the National Assembly.
In the Eastern Pyrenees, Which candidates qualified for the second round (Sunday July 7) on the first constituency (Perpignan, Bompas, Toulouges, Canohès, Cabestany)? Perpignan News takes stock of the results.
The results of the first constituency
The first results on the 1re constituency of the department will be known shortly after 8 p.m. As a reminder, here is the complete list of candidates in the first round:
- Sophie Blanc (National gathering, outgoing MP)
- Francis Daspe (Popular Front)
- Loic Moszkowiez (The Republicans)
- Christophe Euzet (Presidential majority)
- Annabelle Brunet (The Centrists)
- Delphine Danat (Front catalan)
- Jacques Cataldo (Reconquest)
- Pascale Advernard (Workers’ struggle)
As a reminder, the top two finishers after the first round qualify for the second round of the legislative elections, as well as the other candidates who have obtained more than 12.5% of registered voters. If a candidate obtains more than 50%, he is elected in the first round.
