This Saturday, June 29, a man was arrested in Hyères in the Var.

According to BFM Var, this man is a homeless person who brought this case Monday July 1st in the afternoon in immediate appearance at the Toulon court for aggravated intentional violence.

This man aged 43 ans would have given a cutter blow to the carotid artery of a man on June 17 in front of the “En Chemin” shelter, a social accommodation and reintegration center.

At the time of the incident, the man who was stabbed with a box cutter in front of his home was said to have asked the homeless person to leave the premisesA conflict then broke out between the two men and the violent blow was fired.

The man hit in the carotid was seriously injured. He was evacuated to Sainte-Anne Hospital with a life-threatening prognosis at first. His condition is now stable.
