Nearly 49 million people were invited to go to the polls this Sunday, June 30, 2024 for the first round of early legislative elections. They follow the dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on June 9, after the defeat of his camp in the European elections.
The primary challenge this Sunday: elect 577 deputies, including ten in Seine-Maritime – two for Dieppe and its region – who will be elected for five years from 2024 to 2029. Follow our live stream with us.
People at the city hall
19h. There are already quite a few people at Dieppe City Hall (Seine-Maritime) this Sunday June 30, 2024 to follow the results. The count will begin and at 4 p.m., there were 2,500 more voters in Dieppe than in 2022.
The participation rate
6:50 p.m.These legislative elections are marked by a forte participation. At 12 p.m., the participation rate was 26.62% in Seine-Maritime, when it was 17.34% at the same time in 2022.
At 5 p.m., the turnout for the legislative elections in Seine-Maritime is estimated at 64.49%. It was 36.52% in 2022 at the same time, almost 20 points more. Across France, the participation rate is 59.39% at 5 p.m.
If during the first round, no candidate obtains more than 50% (absolute majority), a 2nd round will be organized on July 7, 2024. In order to remain in the second round, a candidate must obtain in the first round a number of votes at less equal to 12.5% of the number of voters registered in the constituency.
