Follow the results of the first round of the legislative elections in the fifth constituency of Reunion Island live. Here are the compiled results of the 1st hundred in the central office of Saint-Benoît, of the 1st hundred of office 1 of Plaine des Palmistes and of all 13 offices of Bras Panon.

The largest constituency on the island in terms of surface area, the 5th constituency has 87,334 voters and includes the municipalities of Bras-Panon, Saint-André (2 and 3), Saint-Benoît, la Plaine-des-Palmistes, Salazie, Sainte-Rose and Saint-Philippe.
Jean-Hugues Ratenon was elected in 2022 for a second term against the candidate supported by Banian and the Benedictine municipality, Ridwane Issa (Banian), who was competing for the presidential majority. Jean-Hugues Ratenon had collected 36.38% of the votes cast in the first round, far ahead of his opponent who had obtained the score of 16.69%. The participation in this first round was 30.83%. The second round had been only a formality for Jean-Hugues Ratenon who had collected 62.81% of the votes against 37.19% for Ridwane Issa, beaten by several hundred votes in Saint-Benoit.
