LIVE – Legislative elections 2024: experience the 1st Round in the region

11:40 a.m.: the first participation rate at national level and department by department will be announced at noon

11:00 a.m.: more than 2.7 million proxies (Ministry of the Interior)

As of this Saturday, 2,782,068 proxies have been counted by the Ministry of the Interior since the announcement of the vote. This is 3.9 times more than during the first round of the legislative elections in 2022.

10:30 a.m.: the main political figures have voted

Jordan Bardella, Manuel Bompard, Emmanuel Macron, Mathilde Panot, Edouard Philippe, Gabriel Attal… they all voted early this morning in their polling stations.

8:00 a.m.: Polling stations are open

Polling stations in the region are open. They will close at 6 p.m. except in Rezé, Orvault, Couëron, Rennes and Saint-Jacques de la Lande where they will close at 7 p.m. and in Saint-Herblain and Nantes at 8 p.m.

7:30 a.m.: Ogiens can vote

This is an exception granted by the Vendée prefecture. Residents of the island of Yeu can vote from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The polling stations are therefore open.

7:00 a.m.: welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the legislative elections

Three weeks after the dissolution pronounced by Emmanuel Macron following the European elections, voters return to the polls to elect their new deputies. In the region: 6 deputies will be elected in Morbihan, 8 in Ille-et-Vilaine, 10 in Loire-Atlantique, 5 in Vendée and 5 in Charente-Maritime. In the event of a second round, it will take place next week: July 7.
