FC Metz announces three new departures

The summer transfer window begins with a phase of trimming the squad for FC Metz. The Grenat club has just made official three new departures in its squad.

One thing is certain, the resumption of FC Metz, scheduled for this Friday, July 5, will take place without many players. While the club has already announced the departure of several players such as Guillaume Diestch (FCV Dender EH, Belgium), Marc Aurèle Caillard or even more recently Papa Ndiaga Yade (FC Sheriff, Moldova). In this continuity of renewal of the workforce, three new players join the list of starters.

A loan return and two contract ends

Each end of season also marks the end of certain contracts. Having arrived on loan this winter, Didier Lamkel Zé is returning to Hatayspor (Turkey), not retained by the Grenats. For their part, at the end of their contracts, Sami Lahssaini and Warren Tchimbembé will also play far from Moselle, but will be free to choose their destination. Moreover, the latter is expected to join Pau. The squad therefore continues to refine itself before being able to strengthen this summer in view of the 2024/2025 Ligue 2 season which will start on August 17 against SC Bastia.
