During the night from Friday to Saturday, around 3 a.m., while the “Old School” bar in Sarrebourg was celebrating its 5th anniversary, a minor argument broke out inside the establishment. Security officers calmly escorted the group of people involved towards the exit allowing the evening to resume its course. But a few minutes before closing, around 3:50 a.m., customers leaving the bar found themselves attacked by the group expelled almost an hour before. A violent fight ensued at the back of the parking lot and on the road.
The security agents, immediately alerted by witnesses to the scene, tried to separate the ten people present but the situation quickly degenerated. A man falls, his head hits the ground. Seriously injured, he was rushed by emergency services to Nancy University Hospital. Another person was also reportedly injured.
When the police and firefighters arrived, those responsible for the fight fled. Two of them were arrested and taken into custody this Saturday morning. An investigation was opened by police officers from the Sarrebourg police station.
